Charlotte K. Siya Charlotte Siya was born in Francistown Botswana, the first child of a single mother. She was raised in Francistown where she attended primary school through to senior secondary school in public schools. After high school she briefly studied in China. In 2013 she fell pregnant and stayed home to have her baby. Charlotte then decided to change career paths by enrolling in Botho University to study Accounts and be close to her infant daughter. In 2014 her long-term relationship with the father of her daughter came to an abrupt end which triggered psychological breakdown leading to her diagnosis with Bipolar I. It is then that her path in Mental Health awareness and advocacy began. Charlotte comes from a family of open minded cultural people but they had misconceptions about mental illness like most people do. So, when she was diagnosed with Bipolar, they struggled to understand and accept the situation. This on its own put a strain on the family and Charlotte. With time and patience, Charlotte educated them as she learned about her condition and the family rallied around her. Though she was accepted for her condition at home, she became acutely aware of the myriad of misconceptions the community has about mental illnesses during interactions with other people living with similar conditions. So, she set out to educate herself and those around her about mental health for the betterment of society. In May 2017, Charlotte decided to start an NGO with the mission to educate the public, help the mentally ill community and raise awareness on Mental Health; a significant but egregiously overlooked matter affecting us all. May 30th 2017 is when Charlotte chaired the first meeting of Valor Mental Health Foundation, a date chosen intentionally to coincide with her birthday. Since then she has been joined by other young people passionate about volunteering and helping others in the pursuit of a better society.

Associate Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at Queens University, Kingston, Ontario. At present is the clinical director of the Adult Community Division. Held the position of Clinical Director of the Acute Inpatient Unit between 2013 and 2016. Lead Psychiatrist for the Assertive Community Treatment Team since 2009. Had joined the department as an Assistant Professor in March 2009 and was promoted to Associate Professor in July, 2015. Trained in the University College of London, Camden and Islington Training Scheme Rotation. Did Medicine from Karachi, Pakistan practiced in Medicine and Family Medicine before going to the United Kingdom.

Dr. Kadhim Alabady is Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow (FRCP – Glasgow). Hold a Doctorate degree in Public Health and Epidemiology, Master degree in Clinical Epidemiology (MSc), Master degree in Public Health (MPH), all from The Netherlands Universities with broad experience driving Research and Development (R&D) strategies and operations.

Ms.Farhtheeba Rahat Khan is a development professional with experience backed up by private sector interventions and development sector working realities and challenges. As the lead of ‘Private Sector Health project’, Ms.Khan undertook studies to understand private sector healthcare market dynamics and simultaneously worked on the policy front with Ministry of Health and Family Welfare and its directorates in addressing the supply side issues of healthcare market. She provided technical assistance for formulation of policy framework, guidelines and accreditation systems in the health training, and emphasized on avenues for women employment in the health sector. Currently, Ms.Khan is the Team Leader for the ‘Working with Women’ project implemented by SNV where she is facilitating interventions in garment factories, following a gender sensitive and gender-specific approach to ensure equity in healthcare service provision for female garment workers

Maria Clara Santana Maroja is a doctorate’s degree student at Education from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte, Brasil, where researches about training of health professinals, especially the training of professionals in mental health. Graduate at Nutrition, expertise at Clinical Nutrition and master's degree at Nutritional Sciences, with emphasis on public health. Works at the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Tecnology of Paraíba, Brasil, where exerts editorial activities related to the Principia Scientific Journal and book publications. She is also a reviewer of scientific journal articles. Was a nutritionist at the State Health Deoartment of Paraíba, Brasil, where she participated in the planning, implementation and evaluation of health public policies.

Professor Dr. Kazi Saifuddin has received PhD from Kobe University, Japan and worked as a research fellow in Cambridge, Lancaster, Tokushima and other Universities. Presently he is a Dean of the Faculty of Life and Earth Science (Former Chairman of Psychology Department) of Jagannath University, Dhaka, Bangladesh. Renowned academic personality Dr. Kazi Saifuddin was the former President and General Secretary of Jagannath University Teacher Association. He also holds the post of Treasurer of Bangladesh Psychological Association, and Treasurer of South Asian Association of Psychologists. He received international award on the research on psychophysics. He has published many research articles and books. Dr. Saifuddin has been editing many research journals and books.

I graduated as psychiatrist from Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Science in 1999 I work as head of department of psychiatry and consultant psychiatrist in Ghaem General Hospital of Karaj from 2000 to 2003 and from 2011 till present. I work as consultant psychiatrist in Shahid Rejaee Hospital of Karaj from 2000 to 2003. I work as trusted psychiatrist in Teachers clinic of Karaj ( depended to Ministry of Education of Iran) from 2014 till present. I work as CEO of Hooshdar Medical Technology Co. from Oct 2009. I have proposed the idea of moving parts of the Medicare workflow online to increase the efficiency of the process. Currently this idea is implemented in the psychiatry field.
