Ms. Payal Maheshwari is M.Phil, from the Department of Human Development and Family studies, M.S. University, Vadodara, and presently doing her PhD in the field of children with Learning Disability. She is presently teaching as Associate Professor in the Department of Human Development, College of Home Science, Nirmala Niketan, Mumbai. She has been teaching for last 23 years, at the graduate and post graduate levels. Has a research experience of around 27 years, which includes funded research projects, guidance of master level research and more. She has presented several papers in International and National conferences. Several publications are on her name. She has been serving as reviewer of several international journals, and on the editorial board of Journal of International Special needs. She has been invited as a key note speaker in National conference on Inclusion in Dec 2019, and has participated as a panelist in Panel Discussion on Inclusive education in an international conference. Her interest areas/areas of expertise has been, Individuals with special needs, Inclusive education, Emotional Intelligence, Socio emotional learning, Adolescent development and more.
